Whether you're a counsellor, psychotherapist, psychologist or mental health practitioner, working in the field of mental health and emotional wellbeing can at times feel tough and isolating.
Lockwood Therapy and Wellbeing hopes to build a community of specialists that are able to support each other and share resources and knowledge in a collaborative way.
Members of our community are encouraged to share their skills and experience. If you wish to deliver training workshops, offer supervision or attend a networking event then there is the opportunity to do this and promote your services to our community of therapists.
Calm, comfortable, clean rooms available suited for talking therapies with individuals, couples or families/small groups or group supervision.
Therapy Rooms
There are 2 consulting rooms available for hire, as well as access to larger shared spaces in the building including outdoor space, kitchen/dining area, public cafe and food outlet.
The therapy rooms are situated together in the same area of the building with a small lobby/entrance space separating the rooms to ensure privacy and quiet. There is a small car park on site as well as free on-street parking in the surrounding areas.
Room bookings are available on a weekly basis over the calendar month:
- 4 hour slots (Morning 8 - 4pm, Afternoon 12 - 4pm, Evening 4 - 8pm).
- Half day (Morning 8am - 2pm or 2pm - 8pm)
- Full day (8am-8pm)
- Ad-hoc booking is also available
Prices from £5 per hour (dependent on package)
Fern
This consulting room has been recently refurbished and includes 1 armchair and a 2 seater sofa, that would be suitable for both individual and couples therapy. The room benefits from natural light as the room overlooks an internal garden. There is additional room lighting and lamps to create a comfortable and welcoming space to see clients/patients.
Bracken
This large consulting room has been recently refurbished and includes 2 armchairs and a small double sofa, that would be suitable for both individual and couples therapy or group supervision. The room also has a large desk and office chair in the corner and a large wall mounted pinboard to be able to present to a small group.
The room benefits from natural light as the room has 2 windows overlooking an internal garden. There is additional room lighting provided by roof lights, lighting and lamps to create a comfortable and welcoming space to see clients/patients.
My Location
The therapy space is located in Guildford, Surrey based in Slyfield Industrial Estate with good transport links from the A3, Guildford and Woking town centres.
There is a private car park available on site and the building is fully accessible.
