Perhaps you're feeling down or anxious and this is affecting your day to day life or maybe you're unsure about the future of a relationship, or just feel that you aren't living the life you were meant to. You might be functioning on the outside, but internally feel stuck, overwhelmed, or quietly exhausted by patterns you can't seem to shift. Perhaps you’re not even sure if you need therapy…
Whatever your needs may be, I am here to offer emotional support in a safe and confidential space for you to reflect on the difficulties or problems you are experiencing with someone outside your day to day life.

My approach tends to be reflective, grounded, and paced - not rushed toward fixes, focused on understanding what's actually going on beneath the surface. Together we explore your situation, reflecting on previous experiences and patterns of behaviour, no matter how difficult or unpleasant you may feel them to be.
We pay attention to both what's happening now and where these patterns may have formed which can lead to fresh perspectives. This approach often suits people who are reflective, curious about themselves, and willing to look at patterns and gain a deeper level of personal insight rather than quick solutions.
If you're looking for highly structured, directive advice, this may not be the right fit. Counselling is about empowering you to make your own changes.
People begin counselling for a variety of reasons:
• Feeling anxious, concerned, or worried about life and the future
• Experiencing low mood or depression
• During times of loss or loneliness
• Relationships – at home or work – not going as well as you would like
• Following redundancy, or wanting to change career
• Identity issues
• Feelings of frustration or anger
• Low self-esteem or self-worth
• During periods of significant change and transition (e.g. marriage/divorce, relocation, empty-nest, retirement)
• Health concerns/Ageing/menopause for self or others
• Family difficulties – fertility, parenthood, conflict.

If anything here seems familiar, you're welcome to send me a message - no commitment, no pressure.
Once you have reached out, I’ll come back to you to arrange a brief telephone call (no fee).
Just an initial conversation to see if it feels like the right fit.
I help individuals that want to make change. Whether that be to better understand and process events from the past; to untangle thoughts, feelings and emotions they are experiencing in the present; or feel more hopeful about their future.
